Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Hey friends!
I'm currently lounging on the mind-blowingly (yeah ... not a word ... just go with it) comfortable couch that my roommate recently purchased. It definitely took our room from a 7 to a 9.5 on a scale of 1-10. I'm on a country music kick right now, so I've got Chris Young serenading me. 95 degrees outside and a perfect 77 in my room. This weekend is the end of my post-semester 2.5 week break. I'm beginning on my 13-week summer stretch on Tuesday ... yes! 40 hours a week in the Laundry will pretty interesting. Hopefully I'll be making some major bucks working off-campus too. Oh right, maybe a social life will fit in there somewhere. Probably not.
I spent the last week at home, doing absolutely nothing but cooking and re-watching episodes of The Office on Netflix. It was perfect. I haven't worn makeup in a week. Bliss. I'm turning 22 in a week and a half. How can that be possible? I am not nearly mature enough to be 22. I'm just thinking about people I know that got married at 18 or 19 ... I'm sure I won't be ready to marry someone in the next few years, let alone four years ago!! I just feel like I haven't had enough life experience to be this age. Oh well, the milestone is coming, regardless of my readiness to accept the fact.
The last few weeks have brought about a lot of changes - I'm not so keen on change. My roommate/friend transferred to another school, one of my other good friends moved into my room, the semester ended, my grades were less than desirable, I started mentally preparing myself for 13 weeks on this campus. Oh well, such is life ... On a happier note, I'm going to be an aunt two more times in August and September! My two oldest sisters are both expecting. I won't even know what to do if they have boys - I have four sisters and three nieces. Boys would just throw everything off.
My sister and I are starting the Daniel Fast in a couple weeks. Basically it's a vegan diet that goes for three weeks. I've been a vegetarian for a month before, it wasn't exceptionally hard ... but cutting dairy out too is going to be a stretch. Motivation! We've got this ...... right?

Bye! Have a fantastic (insert amount of time until my next post here)!
